Ricky’s Place was created from family experience — not from a boardroom idea.
We knew families deserved better options.
Our family’s experience with caregiving changed the way we looked at residential care. When we searched for a suitable place, too many of the options felt wrong. After continued searching, we settled on what seemed like the best available choice — and quickly learned that “the best of the bunch” still was not good enough. Multiple moves followed.
Those experiences shaped Ricky’s Place. We wanted a smaller, more personal home where care felt human, residents were known as individuals and families could feel that their loved one mattered.
This is more than a business to us. It is a personal mission built around a simple standard: care for people the way we would want our own family cared for.
